20. Cornwall - Thomas de la Hyde, Sheriff, as Custos of the County of Cornwall, which King Henry, father of the now King, gave to his brother Richard Earl of Cornwall, as is contained on the Roll of the 10th year of the same King Henry, and which County, after the death of Edmund Earl of Cornwall, son and heir of the aforesaid Richard (which Edmund died on the morrow of Saint Michael, in the 28th year ending, this the 29th year beginning, without heir of his body), came into the King's hands as the next heir of the same Edmund, together with all the lands and tenements which the same Edmund held in fee on the day of his death aforesaid, £234 4s. in tale of the farm of the County of Cornwall, as is contained in the; Rolls for the 7th, 8th, and 9th years of the aforesaid King Henry, and in preceding Rolls.
