Dear Ms Stuart, This organisation operates a Cornish Rights information website [address below] and I am seeking to collate and review copies of all reports/submissions which intercede on behalf of the Cornish people. As HRH the Duke of Cornwall is charged with the constitutional protection of the Cornish People, within the Duchy of Cornwall, I would be grateful if it would be possible to be provided with copies of any relevant reports for review on the website which?

and, following the subsequent failure of the State to provide that recognition:

| Reply received 18th February to advise that enquiry falls "..outside the scope of responsibilities as Duchy Archivist.." and that it has been passed to the Press Officer. | |||

"I am sorry not to have been able to reply earlier to your letter to Miss Stuart about your website. I have now had the opportunity to give the letter my attention and am writing to say that, as the information you seek does not exist (since such matters are for the Government of the United Kingdom), I am afraid I am unable to help you."

Dear Mr. Ross, I thank you for your reply to my query as to what action the Duchy of Cornwall has taken with regard to the Cornish people's Claim of Right for recognition as a National Identity. Since it is the United Kingdom Government which denies the Cornish the recognition which history and geography has already inalienably given to us, your reply is to be deeply regretted. It is clear that the creation of the Duchy of Cornwall out of the Earldom of Cornwall in 1337 encompassed both the Territory and the Government of Cornwall "to remain the same forever". This implies also the protection of the people within it. It is clear that the apparent usurpation of this constitution by the Crown through, presumably, its Parliament has been, and continues to be, prejudicial to Cornish Rights. If, as you say, it is a matter for the Government of the United Kingdom, perhaps you would please advise me as to when this became true in law? Further: given that the rights alluded to should be protected by a grant "forever", should not the Duchy of Cornwall be honor-bound to intercede on behalf of the Cornish people?
